Scripture:
“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” - Joshua 1:9 (NIV)
Observation:
We do not know much about life at the time of birth, but even so, we are born. We do not know what the day will bring, but even so, we wake up; each season comes with a challenge. In definitive moments of my life I ask myself: what will be my call? However, I was not asking the one who was calling me, so I began to direct my questions to the only One who could give me answers. Through me seeking I began to understand the concept of prayer. Having a relationship with God is not only about asking questions, but about the God of the answers. Words are just words, if not directed to the right ears. As other questions arrived, I discovered that I was choosing to only pray on special occasions and out of need. But true communion, comes from daily seeking to have special moments with Him.
Application:
Question: What part of your life have you not given to God?
Challenge: Through this time of fasting and journaling, be brave, give Him control of each situation.
Prayer:
